Updated Procedure of Rapid test and PCR test by Lippo Insurance
With current situation where the number of Covid-19 infection keep on increasing, sometimes we may feel some symptoms that similar with Covid-19. So, surely we check our health condition to the doctor to ensure of our health.
Herewith, we would like to share for the updated procedure of Rapid test and PCR test that covered by Lippo Insurance as follows:
|1) Insurance coverage of Rapid and PCR test using Out-Patient Benefits||Not Change||1) Insurance coverage of Rapid and PCR test using Out-Patient Benefits|
|2) Participants must have medical indication (eq. : pneumonia, bronchitis, cough for several days, fever for several days, etc)||Not Change||2) Participants must have medical indication (eq. : pneumonia, bronchitis, cough for several days, fever for several days, etc)|
|3) Based on the medical indication in point no. 2, if the doctor recommends a Rapid test and the result is Reactive, the doctor can recommend a PCR test||Change||3) As long the participant can get the doctor's recommendation who is indicated for Covid-19, the costs can be covered with Out-Patient Benefits (it doesn't matter if the result is Reactive or Non-Reactive)|
|4) For those who wants to do PCR test, he must follow the standard requirements of the Ministry of Health's procedures for Covid-19. First, participants have to do Rapid test, then if the result is Reactive, they can do PCR test, if they avoid it, then insurance will not be covered.||Change||4) Lippo Insurance are currently accepting for those who wants to do PCR test without doing Rapid test first, as long as there is a requirement such as doctor recommendation, diagnose and medical indications that lead to Covid-19.|
Participant is required to have medical indications (eq. pneumonia, bronchitis, cough for days, fever for days, etc.). The hospital staff will confirm directly to Lippo Insurance for employee who check his/her health condition in the hospital, and if employee has excess for his/her treatment, he can see on Lippo Meditap receipt or also can ask directly to the hospital staff.
Incase employee wants to contact to Lippo Insurance, please do remember and write down the name of Lippo Insurance's staff for further information. For better service, employee can confirm through chat room by using E-Benefit and then click the notification which allows the chat to record because this chat history will be sent through email as evidence for future coordination.
